2011 Fall Color Photo Contest
Thank you to all that submitted a photo to our 2011 Fall Color Photo Contest! Winners will be chosen, contacted, and announced then through this blog (exploretheoutdoorsohio.com) on November 16, 2011.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The 2011 Explore the Outdoors, Fall Color Photography Contest begins September 21, 2011 and ends October 26, 2011.
WHO MAY ENTER
Contest participants must be in grades 3-8. Contestants must submit their photo with the permission of their parent or guardian. Entries will be accepted from email addresses of individuals over the age of 18.
HOW TO ENTER
Each entry may be submitted using the form below. Complete the form with the required information and feel free to add a caption or additional information (i.e. the location, date the photo was taken, etc.) in the message field.
Photographs must be in digital format. Only online entries will be eligible for the prize. All digital files must be 1MB or smaller and must be in JPEG or JPG format.
The photograph must be taken by a child in grades 3-8. The photograph must not contain objectionable or inappropriate content.
CONTEST PRIZES
The first place winner will receive a 1-night stay in a state-operated cottage. This prize will be provided to the entrant’s parent or guardian.
The second place winner will receive a 2-night stay in any State Park Campground. This prize will be provided to the entrant’s parent or guardian.
Explore the Outdoors will contact the winners via the email provided.
JUDGING
Winners will be chosen, contacted, and announced then through this blog (exploretheoutdoorsohio.com) on November 16, 2011.
Please Note: Anyone who submits a photo gives Explore the Outdoors consent to use their photo in future publications or on this web site.

How many times may one child enter?
As many times as they’d like!
We have been trying to submit the photos and keep getting file is too large. I have checked all the photos and they are not even close to the 5MB limit. They are around 1-2MB each. My son really was excited to enter his first photo contest and now your entry is not accepting the specified limits. Is there another way we can send them in?
